Greatest Journal is superior to Live Journal. Despite less people. I'm mainly updating with a new screenname I've been conjuring up for some time now. It's after a Suzanne Vega song widowswalk, I haven't added any friends yet, but feel free to add that name. If you take the time to add my ew screenname I'll certainly add yours as well. Sometimes you just need a change. I'll have this new name on GJ and LJ. I might use Kissladylazarus again some time, but right now, it's just not me.

Plans are coming pretty swiftly as we fumble our ways towards London. Figured out certain expenses tonight, so we'll need about $3,000 each, to get started. So, back to the working force I go.

'Tis worth it my chillin's. London is my home. Not this fucking redneck land. Where all you see are people playing no-life role-playing games and getting nowhere at 35. People just get pregnant at 20 here. Fuck that. I'd rather be homeless in London, than rich here. I don't have much respect for anyone in this town, becuase if you were at the top of your game, you wouldn't be here in the first place.

I actually read Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park, the novel. I was obsessed with the movie when I was about 9 or 10. So after reading it, I was inspired to watch the film again for the first time in probably 10 years, to point out differences in the book, an excuse to look at Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum, etc. Even little Timmy was cute. But after I watched it, I got this profound sadness. I mean, the kind that you can't even put into words. I have no clue why. I mean, I loved the movie when I was younger, still do, but this time it made me very, very sad. Why?

Hurricane Frances: Three and a half hours without power, stubbed my two in the dark, a few small limbs in front yard. Jack Safe.
Hurricane Ivan: Tornado Siren Twice, Three Seconds without power, a huge limb in the front yard, and some tiny ones strewn about. Made "Hurricane House" for Jack, he was safe and dry.

All in all, VERY VERY LUCKY. The storms could have been a lot worse. Wish I could help the folks in Florida a bit, but I'm pretty useless.
